Ewa Fijołek is a Director of Software Development at Dynatrace, leading 50+ people team. She is Polish but has mostly worked for US and UK companies. Ewa holds an MSc in Computer Science from the University of Warsaw, she worked as a research scholar and was a Ph.D. student at the University of Mississippi.

Ewa has 10+ years of experience in engineering leadership roles. She enjoys building high-performing and self-improving teams. She is a big fan of Lean Software Development and a Kaizen practitioner. Ewa is skilled in Software Development, Agile Methodologies, Process Design, and Optimization, as well as Reliability Engineering, and Security.

Besides having 23+ years of software engineering experience, Ewa is also a sailing navigator, certified captain, pirate photographer, and mom.
