Hello, my name is Madhura Chopda and I am currently a director of Engineering at Elastic.

I started my engineering career working in access, provisioning and identity management at Persistent Systems in Pune, India in 2004. A serendipity brought me to the silicon valley in 2007 and that shaped my career into enterprise security further. For the past 12 years I have had the pleasure of being associated with ArcSight’s enterprise security solution suite. I have worked in numerous projects related to data collection, parsing, normalization, data storage, monitoring, config mgmt, etc. I have worked with wonderful people and look forward to being part of another great team at Elastic.

With many things happening around, what calms me down is my passion towards dancing and theatre. I have been actively dancing for the last 20 years or so. Acting is another passion I love to pursue. I am associated with a couple of amateur theatre companies in the SF south bay.
